How It Works Behind the Scenes
Exit Explorer uses a powerful REST API to deliver real-time highway exit and business information directly to your device. When you open the app, your GPS coordinates are sent to our servers, which instantly identify all highway exits within your search radius and the services available at each one.
Tap on any exit marker to get detailed business information including names, brand logos, customer ratings, review counts, and approximate distances. Businesses are organized into four easy-to-browse categories: Gas, Food, Lodging, and Other services like banks and grocery stores.
Your privacy matters to us. All API requests are authenticated using secure, signed tokens, your location data is only used to find nearby exits and is never stored permanently, and we don't track your driving history or movement patterns.
